How the magic happens

Muscle relaxation injections are commonly and effectively used to reduce facial lines and wrinkles, as well as playing a preventative role to reduce wrinkle development in younger clients.

What we treat

At BEAU, Dr Tara Tricot uses a series of micro-injections of Botulinum toxin to weaken contracting facial muscles, blocking the chemical signal from the nerves that are responsible for creating fine lines and folds. The injections are quick and pain-free to administer, with results seen within a few days and lasting up to six months.

The most common areas we treat at BEAU are the frown lines and wrinkles of the upper face. The mouth, bunny lines around the nose, décolletage, jawline and platysma neck bands can also be treated.
 
We pride ourselves in understanding anatomy and facial movements which results in a discreet, rested, natural look. Muscle relaxant injections are most effective for dynamic lines which result from facial expression and soften with relaxation of the face. In these cases, treatment with muscle relaxant injections has a remarkable and quick effect with the full results being apparent within two weeks.
 
It’s worth noting that static lines or deeper wrinkles which are present when the face is at rest, will only benefit from a partial improvement.

What to expect

Your first visit to BEAU will be a free consultation to cover medical history and suitability for the muscle relaxant injections. Dr Tara Tricot will discuss your treatment options, as well as any concerns and expectations.
 
Treatment is fast and relatively pain free due to the micro needles, but it’s possible to have some transient bruising or swelling at the injection sites.
 
A free follow up appointment is offered at two weeks to ensure you’re happy with the outcome and if any areas require further treatment this is done free of charge too.
